Dr. Eric Berkowitz

Dr. Eric Berkowitz attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he served as a Senator for the Student-Faculty Senate, earning his medical degree in 2001. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and entered the dermatology residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2002.

Dr. Berkowitz completed his residency in 2005 having served as Chief Resident during his final year. Following his residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in Procedural Dermatology at Mount Sinai and served as the Director of Surgical, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology in the Division of Dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center from 2006 to 2009. He has since worked in a large multispecialty medical practice.Establishing his private practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan allows Dr. Berkowitz to treat patients in a more comprehensive manor for a full range of dermatological concerns from medical and surgical treatments to those that are aesthetic, cosmetic or corrective in nature. Dr. Berkowitz offers the latest innovations for diagnosing and treating skin disorders, customized to meet the needs of each patient.

Dr. Claire Wolinsky
Dr. Claire Wolinsky

Dr. Claire Wolinsky graduated Summa Cum Laude with a dual degree in Art and Art History and Biomedical engineering from Tufts University. Dr. Wolinsky, who is bilingual in English and Spanish, served as Clinical Research Coordinator with Spanish speaking patients at Mount Sinai Hospital. She then earned her M.D. from Albany Medical College where she was admitted to the coveted Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in only her junior year of medical school. After medical school, she completed her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital where, during her final year, she was chosen to serve as Chief Resident of Dermatology for the hospital and affiliates.

As a complement to her private practice, Dr. Wolinsky holds the position of Dermatology Attending at Elmhurst Hospital overseeing and teaching Mount Sinai Hospital dermatology residents and medical students in both weekly pediatric and general dermatology clinics where she also coordinates and leads the inpatient dermatology consult service.

Dr. Robert Bacigalupi

Robert Bacigalupi, MD, FAAD is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon. Dr. Bacigalupi specializes in general dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology including laser therapy and injectable neurotoxins and fillers. He completed his medical degree in 2010 at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans where he was awarded induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Award honor society. After completing dermatology residency at Tulane Medical Center where he served as chief resident, Dr. Bacigalupi went on to complete a procedural dermatology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where he remains on faculty as a clinical instructor overseeing the resident surgery clinic. He has authored many publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as book chapters in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.

Aleyda Calixto

Ms. Calixto is a New York State Registered Medical Assistant and Phlembotomist with over five years of experience in Dermatology. Her knowledge of dermatological procedures and compassion for her patients greatly complements Dr. Berkowitz’s approach to care. Ms. Calixto ensures each patients comfort to create a memorable experience with each visit.
